“Just top up the washer fluid, charge the battery, and drive” is one of the most common myths about electric vehicles. Under these conditions, the gearbox lubricant not only reduces friction but also dissipates heat and protects gears and bearings from premature wear.

• the integrity of the high-voltage system, including insulation of high-voltage cables;
• operation of the cooling systems, electronic control modules, and diagnostic sensors.
